About this Project
VAE Group appointed Austec Building Automation to supply and install the Building management system. Austec installed a fully BACnet solution for the new facility which controlled the following:
- Primary chilled water system utilising air-cooled chillers;
- Constant volume AHU units serving theatres, sterile stores, ward levels, ICU, CSSD and staff areas;
- Theatre AHU’s with mode control for temperature and or humidity control selectable by user;
- Pre-con AHU’s for theatre units and ward levels utilising heat-exchangers modulating CHW run around coils for supply air temperature control;
- General ventilation control /monitoring;
- Nurse call, medical gas, monitoring and alarming;
- Electrical energy meters monitoring.
