About this Project
The client of the existing high rise building at 240 Sandgate Rd in Albion Brisbane had engaged in a comprehensive upgrade to the thermal and airside HVAC plant that served the leased and common areas of the 11-storey building.
Boss Air appointed Austec Building Automation to supply and install the building & energy management system. Austec installed a fully BACnet solution for the new facility which controlled the following:
- Primary chilled water system utilising air-cooled chillers and pumps;
- 145 constant volume FCU units serving open plan office floors, lobbies, and shared areas;
- Ventilation systems through the building including CO2 monitoring and control of the carpark level.
- Energy monitoring system for detailed viewing and reporting the buildings electrical and thermal energy uses.
