About this Project

Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service appointed Austec Building Automation the retrofit of Maryborough Hospital’s Chilled Water Control System. Austec installed a combination of BACnet & JACE Controllers to enable integration to the WBHHS regional Tridium / Niagara system. On completion of this successful project, Austec was awarded the retrofit of the entire Maryborough Hospital Building Management System.

The project consisted of retrofitting 27 BMS enclosures located across 12 separate buildings. Additionally, multiple electrical and thermal meters were monitored through the BMS, including a billing platform for reporting the tenant’s thermal usage. Completion of all works was accomplished without any disruption to the regular operation of the hospital.
