Adelaide Aquatic Centre
The Centre is a modern place for swimming and fitness, with features that support health and active living for people of all ages and abilities.
There are five pools for lap swimming, relaxing, and group fitness. And for the little ones there is a leisure pool complete with water slides and a splash area.
The Centre also has a gym with modern equipment and a range of group fitness classes offered throughout the week for all fitness levels.
The centre includes administrative offices, a creche, café for coffee and casual dining, inclusive changerooms and amenities as well as a sensory room and expansive gardens.

About this Project
Austec SA in conjunction with Watson Fitzgerald as the mechanical contractor completed a complete BMS package to control and monitor all HVAC aspects for the building including
- 2x Trane Water Source Heat Pumps in parallel with 9x Carrier Air Source Heat Pumps
- Complete control and monitoring of Primary-Secondary CHW/HHW loop
- Air Handling Units – including temperature / humidity / CO2 control, run around coils, economy cycle, heat recovery ventilation
- Air-change Energy Recovery Ventilation Units for plantroom AC, toilet change villages and Gym with complete temperature, CO2 and VOC control
- Monitoring and control of pool water temperatures through 7x heat exchangers using Siemens Intelli-Valves with complete thermal energy monitoring
- Under-floor heating manifold control and monitoring using Siemens Intelli-Valves with complete thermal energy monitoring
- Control of Daikin chilled water ceiling cassette and ducted units
